P002 → XYBER
As an immigrant, my biggest culture shock coming to NYC was trying to figure out how people interact with one another through a screen.
Comes XYBER – A project that brings the American Cyberculture closer to those who are unfamiliar with it. There are two components of this project:
★ XYBERCLTR
an app to search for everything about Internet slang. ★ XYBERLNKD
a serial publication that dives deep into the American cyberculture.

There isn’t a One-Stop Shop for all things slang and American Cyberculture
Since slang and internet behaviors arise from the most unpredictable situations, there isn’t an accredited source quick enough to document all of them. As a result, people outside of the American cyberculture have to scour the web to find a slither of reputable enough sources.
XYBERCLTR: A One-Stop Shop to search for everything Internet slang
1) Basic functions:
2) Community Engagement
3) XYBERCLTR Wrapped
4) Figma Prototype
XYBERLNKD: A One-Stop Shop to read about everything Cyberculture
Now that I’ve tackled the search issue, I want to extend this project by adding a serial publication to dive deeper into the American cyberculture. I wanted to separate the two because XYBERCLTR is only meant to be a tool for quick searches.
Below is the first issue of XYBERLNKD.
