P004 → Museé de l’Occulte






The prompt for this project was to develop an original museum idea and construct an identity system around its theme. 

Museé de l’Occulte is a museum dedicated to the rich history of witchcraft and alternative faith in Europe and North America. This museum is intended to be in France, where witchcraft (and witch trials) were most prominent in history, hence the name.

The Museum’s identity centered around the Berries of Belladonna – a hallucination agent used by witches in Middle Age Europe. I channelled the shape of the berry into the museum’s logo.


Font and color palette. Earthy shades for the berries (and witchcraft by association), hot shades to allude to fire – witchhunting.


To promote the museum's opening, I made two posters and merchandise to be sold.
